Implementing Routine HIV Testing in Texas is a one hour course designed to facilitate the practice of routine HIV testing in Texas. The course contains timely data and resources for health care providers interested in implementing routine HIV testing in Texas.  Mary McIntosh, the subject matter expert for this course, has been involved in the Test Texas Coalition since its inception.  The course is designed for health care professionals implementing routine HIV testing as well as those with a general interest in the topic. 

The course objectives include:
1. Be able to explain why routine HIV testing makes sense in Texas
2. Be able to describe the basic components of HIV testing
3. Be able to offer the Opt-Out HIV test in a clinical setting
4. Be able to deliver HIV test results appropriately
5. Be able to implement routine HIV testing in your practice.
