“DSHS HIV Case Management Standards of Care – How These Changes Affect You” is a one hour audio webcast with accompanying powerpoint slides.  The course is a practical review of the updated DSHS HIV Case Management Standards of Care (issued December 1, 2011)

 Course Objectives:

Participants will be able to explain what changes were made in the Standards of Care
Participants will be able to understand and explain how the standards impact their day to day work

 Instructor Bio:  Ann Dills is an HIV Case Management training specialist and has been working in HIV/AIDS since 2000. She started her career in Kentucky coordinating a youth HIV prevention and peer leadership program and providing HIV prevention and education for college GLBT programs. She moved into HIV client services programs after that, working not only with a general HIV+ population, but also focusing specifically on individuals with substance use disorders. Prior to moving to Texas she worked as a Medical Case Manager in an infectious disease clinic. She has been at DSHS since 2007 and has been creating and developing the Texas DSHS HIV Case Management training program since then.
